How we work
Overcoming child poverty
Appomense Hope For Africa believes that every child has the right not to live in poverty so Appomense Hope For Africa programs are designed to deliver real, tangible and lasting improvements to the lives of children. Appomense Hope For Africa reduces child poverty by:
Building assets: in areas such as education, healthcare, food security, livelihoods, water and sanitation.
Strengthening protection: by reducing the risks that children face and providing relief when disasters strike.
Amplifying the voice of children: supporting children’s right to be heard, and encouraging them to express their views.
Enabling people to claim their rights: by supporting them to become agents of change in their own communities.
